Kyuubi no kitsune
Kyuubi is九尾 means nine tails. [link] The strongest god among foxes. A different name is Youko(妖狐） edit--- I wondered why some people mentioned Naruto but its the other way around. Naruto originated from this legend. I wasn very surprised to find out that foreigners assosite Kyuubi with Naruto  Most Japanese conjure up images of a beautiful ninetailed fox God that can transform into a human or a God.
